Remedial Massage
This advanced form of massage therapy builds upon the principles of Swedish massage by incorporating targeted corrective techniques to aid in rehabilitation, alleviate pain, enhance muscle functionality, and improve overall mobility.
Remedial Massage is designed to alleviate symptoms by releasing muscle tension, promoting improved circulation, eliminating harmful toxins, optimizing oxygen flow to the brain, and inducing a state of relaxation in both the nervous system and the mind.
Sports Massage
This approach is employed to prevent injuries, to prepare individuals for sports events, and to support recovery from them, to enhance flexibility, boost endurance, and improve overall athletic performance.
Integrating this type of massage into an athlete's training regimen can lead to optimized performance. The skilled massage therapists at Thirroul Chiropractic possess considerable expertise in collaborating with a variety of sports teams.
Swedish Massage
As one of the most widely recognized forms of bodywork practiced today, the primary objective of the Swedish massage technique is to induce deep relaxation throughout the entire body. This is achieved by applying long, flowing strokes along the muscles, following the natural path of blood circulation back towards the heart.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a precise and concentrated therapeutic approach that employs intense finger pressure and firm, deliberate strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle, fascia, and other structures within the body.
This technique serves a dual purpose, offering both corrective and therapeutic benefits, making it particularly effective in addressing physical issues such as sports injuries and chronic pain.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a specialized therapeutic technique employed by trained healthcare professionals to alleviate musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
It involves the precise insertion of thin needles into trigger points within muscles to promote pain relief, improve muscle function, and enhance overall mobility
