In addition to our chiropractor and remedial massage therapists, we also have a team of other health practitioners including acupuncturist, nutritionist and psychologists. We strive for excellence in all aspects of care, from accurately analysing your health concerns to recommending the most appropriate treatment - with an emphasis on prevention and wellness.

Acupuncture Services

Meet Chris Fish, our highly skilled Acupuncturist with a wealth of experience and training in both traditional Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture.

With over 30 years of practice, Chris brings a unique approach to healing.
Japanese Acupuncture, in particular, distinguishes itself with its gentle and shallow needle technique, often described as comfortable and virtually painless by most patients.

In addition to her Acupuncture expertise, Chris is versed in Craniosacral therapy, a gentle hands-on treatment that synergizes seamlessly with Acupuncture. This combination can effectively address a wide range of issues, including neck pain, headaches, back pain, emotional stress, and more.

Chris's extensive career spans various healthcare settings, including Women's Health Centers, Aboriginal men's drug and alcohol halfway houses, Detox facilities, Rehab Hospitals, and private clinics in Sydney and the Illawarra region.

Her holistic approach considers patients as complete beings—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. During consultations, she assesses patients through traditional methods such as tongue and pulse diagnosis, occasionally adding CST, cupping, or moxibustion to the treatment.

Chris offers support for a wide spectrum of conditions, both physical and mental, and readily collaborates with other healthcare professionals when needed. Sometimes, the most effective healthcare involves a team effort.

Chris eagerly anticipates the opportunity to meet you, with the hope of providing support on your health journey with the utmost respect, compassion, skill, and care.

For booking or questions about the treatment, email Chris at chrissiefysh@bigpond.com or call 0407469405.

Nutritional medicine delves deep into how diet affects health and the link between food and disease, with the aim of understanding and treating the root cause of health problems. It encompasses a holistic and person-centered approach to healing, where practitioner and client work closely together to prevent or manage health conditions and concerns using tailored diets, supplementation and lifestyle strategies. Nutritional Medicine integrates the latest scientific evidence, traditional knowledge, counselling and clinical experience to ensure that individuals get personalised and effective treatments based on their specific needs and goals.

Digestive Issues & Gut Health

Gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, indigestion and bowel irregularities can cause frustration and impact the quality of life. Many people have been living with chronic digestive discomfort for so long that it becomes part of their normality. However, this can affect other areas of wellbeing, such as mental health, weight management and the overall health.

Our nutritionist can help treat the root cause to improve digestive functions and reduce symptoms for a better quality of life.

Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health

Cardiovascular and metabolic disease includes conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, insulin resistance and diabetes.

Nutritional interventions are fundamental in the prevention and treatment of these conditions, even while on medications. By adopting healthier food and lifestyle habits, risk factors for cardiovascular and metabolic disease can be significantly reduced.

Weight Management

Each person has their own lifestyle, habits, culture and needs. Therefore, weight management must be approached with a personalised treatment, tailored to the different stages of life.

Our nutritionist’s priority is to find easy dietary strategies that can lead to sustainable and long-lasting changes. Whether you want to maintain, lose, or gain weight, our nutritionist can help you find ways that work for your individual lifestyle to achieve your goals.

Women's Health

Women’s health continuously evolves throughout the different stages of life. Puberty, reproductive age and menopause, they all present different challenges, and a wide range of conditions can affect women’s wellbeing.

Nutrition can provide significant benefits in improving women’s health by supporting hormonal balance, thyroid functions, and the reproductive system.

Mental Health & Stress

Evidence has confirmed the strong link between what we eat and mental health.

Our gut and the microbiome play a key role in the way we feel mentally and emotionally, whereas nutritional deficiencies can increase the risk of developing anxiety and depression.

Nutritional medicine can help optimise mental health, stabilise mood and improve the stress response.
